Hearty Sausage Casserole

What you'll need
- 500g waxy new potatoes, halved
- 454g pack pork sausages
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 sticks of celery, chopped
- 1 red pepper, diced
- ½ tsp cumin seeds
- ½ tsp of fennel seeds
- 2 tbsp of plain flour
- 400g tin of chopped tomatoes
- Beef stock bouillon
This is the easiest way to create a truly tasty fulfilling meal that everyone will enjoy. Use our Real Tomato Ketchup to add depth to the feast.
TIP: don’t add salt as there will be plenty in the sausages and the bouillon. Taste and season as needed at the end.
Method

- Heat some rapeseed oil in a heavy pan, and fry the potatoes and sausages together for 5 mins.
- Add the onion and pepper and cook for a further 5 mins, turning the sausages occasionally until browned.
- Stir in the flour, coating everything in the pot.
- Add the tin of tomatoes plus half of the empty can filled with water.
- Add the boullion and two or three good slugs of TK.
- Cook, covered for 10 mins and boil at a higher heat for 5 minutes or so to thicken the sauce.
- Serve with our Classic English Mustard, the perfect pairing for this sausage dish.
