  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tin of kidney beans
  • 1 tin of butter beans
  • 1 tin of baked beans
  • Sourdough bread or tortilla chips (for serving)
  • Pea shoots (optional)
  • Stokes Chilli Ketchup

This takes baked beans on toast to another level. Delicious and wholesome. Enjoy.

Method

  1. Fry the onions and garlic.
  2. Add the beans, let them simmer gently
  3. Loosen with a couple of teaspoons of water.
  4. Stir in Stokes Chilli Ketchup (around half a bottle).
  5. If you want a gentler chilli finish, use half and half Chilli Ketchup and our Real Tomato Ketchup
  6. Simmer for 5–10 minutes until it reaches the desired consistency.
  7. Season to taste.
  8. Garnish and serve.
