Chilli Beans

What you'll need
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 tin of kidney beans
- 1 tin of butter beans
- 1 tin of baked beans
- Sourdough bread or tortilla chips (for serving)
- Pea shoots (optional)
- Stokes Chilli Ketchup
This takes baked beans on toast to another level. Delicious and wholesome. Enjoy.
Method

- Fry the onions and garlic.
- Add the beans, let them simmer gently
- Loosen with a couple of teaspoons of water.
- Stir in Stokes Chilli Ketchup (around half a bottle).
- If you want a gentler chilli finish, use half and half Chilli Ketchup and our Real Tomato Ketchup
- Simmer for 5–10 minutes until it reaches the desired consistency.
- Season to taste.
- Garnish and serve.
