Rick Sheepshanks and his team at Stokes Sauces were named "Best Producer" at the Suffolk Food & Drink Awards. To select "Best Producer" the public vote to create a shortlist of three nominees which are then visited by a team of judges. For this category the judge's scores were based on various factors which include the produce route; explanation and source of ingredients; presentation; marketing and packaging. A big thank you to everyone who voted for us and your continued support.

With the view to launch into the family market, Stokes took the plunge and launched their four best selling products (Tomato Ketchup, Mayonnaise, Chilli Ketchup and Brown Sauce) from the Stokes range and put the same great recipe into user-friendly squeezy bottles. Now whatever your preference, whether glass or plastic, there's no excuse why Stokes isn't on your table!

Stokes Sauces had their best ever year at the Aldeburgh Food Festival this year. The feedback from the public was fantastic about our new labels and our four new squeezy bottles which we officially launched. To celebrate we conducted a survey to find our which sauce Suffolk favours on its bacon butty. EADT Suffolk magazine readers were the testing ground and with a 54:50 result it was a narrow 52% victory for tomato ketchup. What do you prefer?

Gressingham Foods - best known as the worlds-exclusive producer of the renowned Gressingham Duck breed are now working closely with Stokes Sauces to create a classic duck accompaniment of a zesty orange sauce and aromatic, sweet plum sauce.

In order to rationalise our brand communication we are changing our trading name to better reflect our biggest selling brand - Stokes Sauces. Essfoods will remain the registered company for administrative and financial purposes.
