I’ve only just realised this is 75% rapeseed oil

I just came to check the ingredients and suppliers of Stokes Mayonnaise, which is what we normally have (I think I was fooled by the label saying ‘made with extra virgin olive oil and British free range eggs’ into thinking it was a healthy product, more fool me) because I am cutting out all foods with Bovaer in their supply chain and I couldn’t remember if there were any relevant ingredients in the mayonnaise- of course there aren’t, I now realise but now I’ve realised what I should’ve realised ages ago, that it’s 75% rapeseed. I’ll be finding an alternative from now on. Sigh, it’s get more difficult to avoid ingredients that you personally believe to be harmful to health…

Dishonest label

75% Rapeseed oil but the label just states made with Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Dishonest label conning people to buy this thinking it is better than other makes and made only with EVOO. Had to throw it away as Rapeseed Oil is so noxious. Will never buy this brand again.

Quick and very tasty
I have been a consumer of stokes sauce for a while. But have always bought it in Suffolk when i visit. Recently i saw the free delivery offer and had stokes delivered to Wales. In my 54 years i have tried numerous mayonnaises but stokes is the best. The order came very fast and was very well packaged. Thank you

Almost as good as........

Quite delicious with most dishes or add to recipes. So....almost as good as homemade!.

Smooth and Delicious

The proof is definitely in the eating and this mayonnaise is far superior to other larger, possibly better known brands. I sometimes put on a buffet and social in the communal lounge of the over 60's accommodation I live in to raise money for the local hospice. The egg mayo or tuna and mayo sandwiches have drawn unanimous approval for their taste.
